- CareerIntel is a practice app. It helps you get faster and more familiar with aptitude test formats. It cannot promise you a score, a job or a place.
- It is not the real test and not made by Thomas International.
- Play fair in online races and pick a decent player name.
- You can stop using the app and delete your account whenever you like.
1. Who we are and what these terms cover
CareerIntel (the "app") is published by Talent Founders [COMPANY LEGAL FORM], [COMPANY ADDRESS], [COUNTRY], company number [COMPANY NUMBER] ("we", "us"). Contact: support@talentfounders.com [confirm support address].
These terms apply when you use the app on iPhone, iPad or Android, and its online features (accounts, cloud save and online races). By using the app you accept them. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
If you downloaded the app from Apple's App Store, your use is also governed by Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement (the "Standard EULA"). These terms add to the Standard EULA. If the two conflict, the Standard EULA wins for iOS and iPadOS users. Apple is not responsible for the app or its content and has no obligation to provide support for it.
If you downloaded the app from Google Play, Google Play's terms of service also apply to your download.
2. A practice tool, not the real test
CareerIntel helps you practise the kinds of questions found in the five sections of the GIA aptitude test: Reasoning, Perceptual Speed, Number Speed and Accuracy, Word Meaning, and Spatial Visualisation. All questions are original practice items generated by the app. They are not real test content.
Scores, ranks, target paces, respect points and coach tips are practice indicators we designed to help you train. They are not official results and do not predict your result on any real assessment. We do not guarantee any test result, job offer, admission or other outcome.
3. Not affiliated with Thomas International
CareerIntel is an independent app. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Thomas International. "GIA" and "Thomas" are trademarks of Thomas International and are used only to describe what the app helps you practise. All other trademarks belong to their owners.
4. Your account
You can use the app without an account. An account is needed only for cloud save and online races. If you create one:
- you must be at least 16 years old;
- give an email address you control, and keep access to it and to your device secure;
- you are responsible for what happens under your account;
- one account per person, please.
How we handle your data is explained in our privacy policy.
5. Online races: fair play
Races are meant to be a fun, fair challenge between friends. When you host or join a race, you agree to:
- play it yourself. No bots, scripts, automation, modified apps or other tools that answer for you or change your score or timing;
- choose a decent player name. No names that are offensive, hateful, sexual, threatening, that impersonate someone else, or that include personal information such as a phone number or someone else's full name;
- share codes with people you know. Do not post race codes publicly to disrupt races, and do not spam or harass other players;
- not overload or attack the service, for example by creating races or requesting sign-in codes in bulk, or by probing for security weaknesses.
Remember that other players in your race see your player name and live progress. If you see a name or behaviour that breaks these rules, email us at support@talentfounders.com [confirm support address] with the race code and the player name.
If you break these rules, we may rename or remove your player name, remove you from a race, limit your access to online features, or suspend or close your account. Where reasonable, we will tell you why and give you a chance to respond.
6. What you may do with the app
We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the app for your own practice. The app, its questions, texts, artwork, name and design are ours or licensed to us. You may not copy, sell, resell, redistribute or reverse-engineer the app or its question generators, or use them to build a competing product or dataset, except where the law allows it.
7. Availability and changes
Practice works on your device without an internet connection. Online features (sign-in, cloud save and races) need a connection and our server. We work to keep them running but cannot promise they will always be available or error-free. We may change, add or remove features, and we may stop offering online features after giving reasonable notice in the app. Practice data on your device is not affected.
8. Liability
The app is provided "as is" for practice. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, such as a missed job opportunity or a test result, or for loss of practice data caused by events outside our control.
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot legally be limited, such as liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or your statutory rights as a consumer. If you live in the EU, you keep all the protections of the consumer law of your country.
9. Ending the relationship
You can stop using the app at any time. To delete your account and cloud data, open Account, then Danger zone, then Delete my account. We may close accounts under section 5, or accounts that have not signed in for 24 months [confirm], as described in the privacy policy.
10. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms, for example when we add features. We will change the "Last updated" date and, for significant changes, tell you in the app before they apply. If you keep using the app after that, the new terms apply.
11. Law and disputes
These terms are governed by the law of [COUNTRY, probably France: confirm], without taking away the mandatory consumer protections of the country where you live. If you have a problem, please contact us first; most issues can be solved quickly. If you are a consumer in the EU, you may also contact the consumer mediator [CONSUMER MEDIATOR NAME AND WEBSITE: required for French B2C services, confirm] or go to the courts of your place of residence.
